What makes it different (14)
A front page built from the desk's flags
The newest story flagged lead takes the top, and there is only ever one. Featured stories sit beside it, breaking stories from the last 24 hours run in the ticker, and recency fills whatever is not flagged.
Each section in its own layout
Every category you switch on gets a block on the front page, in the order you set, drawn as a feature, grid, list, dark or opinion layout. Sub-sections such as sports → cricket get their own pages.
Schedule a story for later
The desk sets a publish time and the story stays off the site, the feeds and the sitemaps until then.
An English edition that never duplicates
Bangla is the working language, so every story has it. The English edition carries only the stories that have an English headline; an untranslated story is simply not there under /en, and hreflang appears only when both versions exist.
News by division and district
The সারাদেশ section lets a reader pick a division and then a district, and every story can be tagged to the area it came from.
Video stories and photo galleries
A story can be a video, and photo galleries have their own pages. Both can run as bands on the front page.
Seven ad slots with start and end dates
Header, home, sidebar and article positions, each taking a banner image with a link or an ad code. An ad runs only between its dates, and an empty slot leaves no gap on the page.
Polls and a newsletter list
Reader polls with a one-vote rule, and a newsletter sign-up whose subscribers land in the panel.
Built for Google News and Discover
Titles, descriptions, canonicals, Open Graph and JSON-LD are rendered on the server. Stories carry NewsArticle and breadcrumb schema, there is a Google News sitemap for the last 48 hours, and the archive is split into a sitemap per month.
One address per story
A story is identified by its number, because a Bangla headline has no usable Latin slug. A link with an old slug or the wrong section redirects to the one canonical URL.
Reader tools on every story
Larger or smaller text, share to Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram, copy link, print, and related stories below. The share buttons are plain links, so no third-party script is loaded to draw them.
Fast pages, fresh the moment you save
Read queries are cached, and saving any story, section, poll or ad clears the cache at once. The site and the panel are separate apps, so a reader never downloads admin code.
RSS for the site and each section
A feed for the whole site and one per section, ready for readers and aggregators.

What does XpressNews cost?
Between ৳4,000 and ৳30,000. Where your portal lands in that range depends on the setup you need — tell us what you want and we confirm the figure before any work starts.
Can a reporter publish a story on their own?
No. A reporter can write and edit their own unpublished stories and send them for review. Publishing, scheduling and the lead, featured and breaking flags belong to the desk.
Is it ready for Google News?
The technical side is: NewsArticle schema on every story, a Google News sitemap covering the last 48 hours, and large image previews enabled for Discover. Getting accepted and ranking still depends on your content, so we cannot promise that part.
Can we run our own ads and AdSense?
Yes. There are seven slots across the header, home page, sidebar and story pages. Each takes a banner image with a link or an ad code, with optional start and end dates.
Do we have to publish in English too?
No. Bangla is the working language. A story appears in the English edition only when you give it an English headline, so you translate as much or as little as you like.
Buying and setup
Can a product be customised for my business?
Yes. Each product is a working base, not a locked template. Branding, wording, fields and workflow are configurable from the admin panel, and anything beyond that we build on top of the same codebase — far cheaper than starting from zero.
Do the products work in Bangla?
All of them are bilingual. Bangla and English each get their own URL with reciprocal hreflang, so both languages are indexable — not a client-side toggle that search engines never see.
What does the starting price cover?
The software, installation on your domain and hosting, and 30 days of free support after handover. Custom features or changes beyond what the panel already does are quoted separately, based on what the change involves.
How long does it take to go live?
The software already exists, so most of the time goes into your content, branding and domain setup. A straightforward launch is usually days rather than months — we confirm the timeline once we see your requirement.
Who owns the data and the site?
You do. The site runs on your own domain with your own database, and the admin panel is yours. We can host and maintain it, or hand the whole thing over to your team.
Can I see a product before deciding?
