Gym Management Software: Stop Losing Members at Renewal Time
The register says 300 members. Ask how many of them have a valid, paid membership today and most gym owners cannot answer. Some are a week late, some three months, and a few are still training on a package that ended in spring.
What the software keeps
- Members with photo, package and expiry date
- Packages: monthly, quarterly, yearly, personal training
- Admission fees, payments and dues
- Attendance at the door
- Trainers, their members and their share
Renewal reminders do the selling
An SMS a few days before expiry, another on the day, and a list for the front desk of everyone expiring this week. It is a small thing, and it is where most of the recovered income comes from. Members rarely intend to stop paying. They forget, and nobody asks.
Attendance tells you who is about to leave
A member who came four times a week and has not come for ten days is about to leave. A report of absent members lets a trainer call them while it still helps. Entry by card, QR code or fingerprint also keeps expired members from walking in unnoticed.
Keep it simple
A single gym does not need an enterprise system. Members, packages, payments, reminders and attendance cover nearly everything. Add online payment, a member app or several branches later, when the basics are being used every day.
