Library Management Software in Bangladesh
Catalogue, barcode issue and return, fine calculation and an online catalogue students can search.
Most institutional libraries still run on a register and a card pocket, which means nobody can answer two simple questions: is this book available, and who has the copy that's missing. Both are solved by putting a barcode on the book.
What you get
Catalogue with copies
Title, author, edition and how many copies exist, each with its own barcode and status.
Issue and return by scan
Scan the card and the book — issue limits and due dates applied by member type.
Overdue and fines
Fines calculated automatically, with an overdue list and reminders instead of a shouting match.
Online catalogue search
Students check availability from their phone before walking to the library.
Stock check and lost books
Periodic physical verification by scanning shelves, with a clear list of what's missing.

Frequently asked questions
We have 8,000 books. How do we get them in?
If you have any list in Excel we import it and you only print and stick barcodes. Where there's no list, cataloguing is manual work — we'll be honest about how long that takes before you commit.
Can it work for a madrasah or public library?
Yes — member types, issue limits and fine rules are configurable, and the interface can be Bangla-first for readers and staff who prefer it.
Do we need a barcode scanner?
It makes issue and return much faster, but a phone camera works too for a small library. Start without one if budget is tight and add it later.
