How to Choose a Software Company in Bangladesh

21 Apr 2026 7 min read

Anyone can put logos on a page. What's harder to fake is a live system you can open, a client who'll take your call, and a straight answer about what went wrong on a past project.

Ask to see something live

Not screenshots — a working URL or an app in the store. Then ask who uses it daily and roughly how many. A system with real users has been through real problems, and that experience is what you're buying.

Questions worth asking

  • Who owns the code and server when we're done?
  • What happens if the developer on my project leaves?
  • What's included in support, and what's charged extra?
  • Can you show me a project that went badly and what you did?
  • How will I see progress before the final delivery?

Be careful with the cheapest quote

A quote far below the others usually means a smaller scope was understood, or corners will be cut where you can't see — no testing, no backups, no documentation. Ask what's excluded. A good team will tell you plainly.

Start small if you're unsure

Give a small paid piece of work first — one module, one integration. You'll learn more about how a team communicates in three weeks of real work than in three months of meetings.
